Our Programs

Environmental Sustainability & Eco-Legacy

Building long-term plant care models, teaching family waste sorting and composting, and deploying youth-led local neighborhood cleanliness drives.

The "Prakriti-Sankalp" Tree Stewardship Program

Moving beyond simple planting events, this program builds long-term plant care models. Local youth and community volunteers plant native tree saplings in arid areas around Patan. What makes it unique is that each sapling is assigned to a specific individual "Steward" who takes personal responsibility to water, track growth, and care for it over a 3-year period.

The Eco-Champions & Zero-Waste Campaign

An interactive educational program for schools and communities focused on waste management. Led by environmental volunteers, it runs hands-on workshops that teach families how to separate dry and wet waste at home, build basic backyard composting units, and run clean neighborhood collection drives.

Initiative 03

Community Rainwater Harvesting Advisory

Led by engineers and conservation volunteers, this initiative provides rural households with simple, low-cost technical blue-prints and installation guides. It shows families how to set up roof-top water channels and simple filtration setups to recharge local groundwater levels using clean rainwater.

Initiative 04

Clean Neighborhoods & Public Space Cleanliness Drives

This program organizes weekend cleanliness drives led by local youth volunteers. Teams clear plastic litter from public parks, paths, and local water bodies while talking directly with residents to raise awareness about health, sanitation, and reducing single-use plastic.

Core Operational Directive

As an agile, foundational organization at a strategic beginning level, Nivansh Foundation builds its initial phase programs around asset-sharing networks, community-donated spaces, and professional skill volunteerism. We do not give direct financial help or cash transfers. This maintains structural accountability and focuses on capacity building.
